After tamping and ballast cleaning operations, the railway ballast track bed may not be sufficiently dense, and the track’s resistance to lateral displacement and stability may be poor. As such, railway trains will be required to travel at a reduced speed within a certain period after such operations, to ensure the safety of the railway operations. To reduce these temporary speed restrictions and ensure that the railway track returns to optimum stability after such operations as soon as possible, stabilizing operations are carried out. The Company’s dynamic stabilizing machines simulate the pressure and vibrations caused by the train when travelling on the track, and are able to effectively reduce the speed restrictions after tamping or ballast cleaning. Railway trains are not required to reduce their travel speed when travelling on tracks that have been stabilized by our dynamic stabilizing machines.

Through two excitation devices, the WD-320 track dynamic stabilizer causes the track skeleton and ballast bed to produce transverse level vibration and transmit the vertical static pressure to the ballast bed. In this way, the ballast flows and re-arranges to fill each other to make the track sink evenly under control and in the vibration state without changing the original geometry and accuracy, so as to increase the horizontal resistance of operating railway and improve the overall stability of ballast bed. The limit speed conditions after the maintenance operation can be effectively loosened.
After being modified, the stabilizer can be used to stabilize turnouts.
