Railways with a ballast track bed may foul and lose its elasticity after a period of operation. When the degree of fouling on the railway track exceeds 30%, the track requires ballast cleaning. The Company’s ballast cleaning machines are used to clean the ballast on the track bed, by excavating the fouled ballast from under the sleepers and cleaning the ballast in an oscillating screening working device to ensure the ballast meet the required quality standard, before returning the cleaned ballast back to the track bed. The residue from the cleaning operations is transported to both sides of the tracks or removed using material conveyor machines.

    QS-650 Full Section Ballast Cleaning Machine

  • QS-1200II full section cleaning machine is mainly used for overhaul and cleaning the ballast track. The machine is designed to dig out, without the removal of track skeletons, the ballast under the track skeleton by means of the motion of its excavation chain, and it allows the ballast dug out to be screened by its vibrating screen. The dirt will be conveyed to the two sides of the railway or back to the material conveyor truck, while the clean ballast be evenly backfilled over the whole section of railway track. For defective track sections, the machine can completely clean the polluted ballast.

    The QS-1200II full section ballast cleaning machine is divided into three parts: screening truck (including front-powered truck, screening truck), excavation truck and rear-powered truck.

    The machine is equipped with advanced track measuring system. It automatically controls the ballast backfilling by detecting the track status, ensuring that the track after cleaning is approximately in line with the original track condition and effectively reducing subsequent mechanical workload.

    After the computer control system sets the excavation depth, it is only necessary to control the working speed so as to perform automatic cleaning operation. This machine can ensure that there is no piled ballast at the beginning of cleaning and the ballast is right enough after cleaning.

  • CQS-550 full section ballast turnout cleaning machine is suitable for cleaning work both in the turnout area and in the ballast bed of the main track. The machine can completely finish cleaning of a group of No.12 single-way turnouts (left or right) in 90 minutes. Due to the retractable mudsill and excavation chain storage mechanism, the mudsill and the excavation chain is not required to be removed when cleaning the turnout, thus greatly reducing the auxiliary working time, relieving the labor intensity and improving the working efficiency.

    The CQS-550 full section ballast turnout cleaning machine has three ways to backfill the ballast after cleaning: through the left-side backfilling conveyor, the right-side backfilling conveyor and the middle backfilling hopper. The ballast amount backfilled through each way can be regulated by the ballast assigning mechanism to make uniform backfilling.   • BS-550 ballast shoulder cleaning machine can collect dirt and ballast on shoulders at the entrance of the dug guide slot by complete machine working action, dug guide slots and ballast gathering plates. The ridgy ballast is driven by the excavation chain running at high speed and then falls into the mixed ballast conveyor belt through the dug guide slot.
